The Contacts and Charity community has been designed to provide non-profit professionals (as well as people with an interest in getting more involved) with a platform to network and build meaningful relationships.
Contacts and Charity is an open community that welcomes everybody. This includes:
- Full Time Non-Profit Professionals: Although non-profit professionals have much in common, busy schedules often get in the way of networking and relationship building. The Contacts and Charity platform allows non-profit professionals the ability to meet on a monthly basis, share information, and potentially collaborate on projects.
- Interested Volunteers: We are all interested in giving back to the community. Finding the right organization, however, can often be a daunting challenge. The Contacts and Charity community is an ideal platform for interested volunteers to meet with a wide array of organizations. Meetings and follow up outside of Contacts and Charity events is encouraged.
- Board Level Professionals: Joining the board of a non-profit can be a very rewarding experience. Non-profit boards are governed by community leaders, business owners, and a wide range of professionals. The Contacts and Charity community is actively looking to introduce professionals with interest to non-profits that have board spaces available.
- Potential Donors: A large number of potential donors are looking for a personal relationship with organizations they financially support. Contacts and Charity provides a forum for this interaction.
- Media Professionals: Any media professional with an interest in either covering non-profits or learning more is welcome at Contacts and Charity events.
- Event Planning Professionals: Large events have become a medium for charities to communicate with the outside world. The Contacts and Charity platform allows event planning professionals to network with non-profit organizations and professionals.
